How many treatments are best?

For best results, we recommend 2 treatments performed 1 month apart. Then, ongoing treatments every 6 months to maintain results.

What can I expect after?

A glowing skin appearance is expected within hours and days following initial treatment. Three to four weeks after your treatment, you will start seeing visible results as collagen, elastin and new cells rebuild, lasting for approximately 6–12 months.

It may be possible to feel, or even see lumps, where the product has been treated under the skin. These will settle within 24 hours, there is no need to massage.

How long between treatments?

Does it hurt?

There’s no need to be nervous, treatments are very superficial causing minimal discomfort. Some redness may occur within the first few hours, but it will shortly subside.

  • Alcohol for at least 24hrs prior to treatment.
  • Any anticoagulants (blood thinning medication) such as fish oil, krill oil, Vitamin E, Garlic, and Ginkgo Biloba should be stopped at least 7 days prior to your treatment to prevent bruising from occurring.
  • Do not cease taking any medications without first consulting your doctor.
  • Chemical peels and micro needling for 7 days prior to treatment.
  • Following the treament your Clear Skincare nurse will carefully go through your after-care instructions, including any products that will help to extend your results.
  • For 24 hours after the treatment:
  • Keep the treated area clean. Some bruising and redness may occur after treatment, this varies by individual.
  • Do not rub, massage, or place pressure on the treated areas.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold, no sunbathing and do not exercise excessively.
  • Avoid aspirin and alcohol consumption.
  • Do not apply makeup or skincare products with active ingredients.
  • For two weeks after treatment:
  • Avoid dental treatments.
  • Avoid other cosmetic treatments in the same area (including fillers, muscle relaxants, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser/ IPL).
  • For four weeks after treatment:
  • Avoid fractional resurfacing for 4 weeks post treatment.
  • Ongoing: Clear Skincare’s Tighten Serum is recommended to maintain and prolong results. A second treatment is recommended in 4 weeks and a maintenance treatment every 6 months to ensure optimum results.

What is Bio-Remodelling?

Bio-Remodelling treatments are the latest anti-ageing treatment to promote the remodelling of ageing, crepey, lax or sagging skin tissue and improve skin quality and firmness.

What areas can you treat?

The face, neck, and back of hands can be treated with Bio-Remodelling treatments. In the face, Bio-Remodelling injections are strategically placed in Bio-Aesthetic-Points or BAPs to optimise the effect or outcome of the procedure. The injected sugar molecule then quickly disperses underneath the skin to cover the entire facial area.

Is this treatment for me?

As we age, the moisture presence within our skin naturally reduces and the natural elasticity and firmness of the skin therefore declines. As most people reach their 30’s they begin to see the effects of this depletion – if you are looking to counteract this decline Bio-Remodelling is an excellent treatment.

How long does it take?

One of the most incredible benefits is that a treatment takes only approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Expected treatment time varies per individual, but most of our clients are treated in under 30 minutes. Please allow 20 minutes before procedure for topical anaesthetic to be applied.

What are the risks or side effects?

Bio-Remodelling treatments are clinically and scientifically proven in treating and preventing skin ageing. It is important to note that, like all medical procedures, there can be risks, even if they are rare. This treatment requires no down time.

Risks may include:
• Small bumps, bruising and mild tenderness post treatment, which usually resolve within 24 to 48hrs but can take up to a week if injections are too superficial.
• Swelling and redness at injection site.
• Lumps lasting more than 24 hours.
• Skin infection.

Can I combine with other treatments?

Yes, you can combine with other aesthetic treatments. If you wish to further improve your skin texture and tone, we recommend a course of skin needling treatments a minimum of two weeks post treatment.

How long do the results last?

Bio-Remodelling results will continue to improve in the months following treatment as new collagen protein is formed within your skin. During this time skin elasticity and skin laxity also continues to improve.
