The skin under the eyes is very thin and highly vascular and susceptible to discoloration. When this happens, unsightly dark circles can develop.
The cause is not lack of sleep as many once assumed, but fragile vessels under the eyes that leak hemoglobin. As hemoglobin breaks down, pigmented degradation products form and accumulate in the dermis and epidermis. The violet tinge that shows through the skin is a telltale sign of their presence and creates the peri-orbital rings seen around the eyes.
Clearskincare Dark Circle Cream is made using the latest nanotechnology to compact the active ingredients into a smaller molecule, allowing the product to penetrate more effectively into the skin. Clearskincare Dark Circle Cream contains 10 % Hayloxyl and Chrysin to eliminate the dark circles, and two Matrikin Peptides to strengthen the capillaries. Other ingredients are Centella Asiatica, which increases capillary circulation, and Vegetal Squalane, which allows deep penetration of the active ingredients.
The key ingredient, Haloxyl, targets the underlying cause of dark circles to prevent excessive formation of these pigmented by-products and diminish their unsightly appearance around the eyes.
In vitro and in vivo studies demonstrate the ability of Clearskincare Dark Circle Cream to:
- Enhance the skin's own capacity to eliminate pigmented by-products of hemoglobin
- Increase skin density to better support the microvascular network around the eyes
- Alleviate inflammation which can lead to vessel fragility
Using a panel of 22 female volunteers, the study measured the intensity of the pigmentation present as rings or circles under the eyes after 56 days of twice daily treatment with Haloxyl or a placebo. Using image analysis, the area under the eyes was measured for changes in the color parameters L*, a* (Red /Green) and b* (Blue/Yellow) and analyzed relative to the subject's natural complexion. Note: A reduction in the red and blue coloration indicates a lessening in discoloration of the skin.
Chrysin is found naturally in the plant Passiflora Coerulea. Chrysin activates the enzyme to help eliminate the bilirubin and biliverdin in the dermis and epidermis, helping to reduce the appearance of dark under eye circles.
The two Matrikin Peptides, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptite 3, increase firmness of the capillaries, preventing the hemoglobin from rupturing into the under eye skin. Centella Asiatica is a plant widely used as a natural remedy for poor circulation , dark under eye circles, and varicose veins. This plant increases collagen, decreases inflammation, and improves circulation by strengthening the capillaries.
To use Clearskincare Dark Circle Cream, simply apply a pea sized amount around both eyes in the morning and at night. You will see noticeable results in 2-3 weeks, or 4-6 weeks in severe cases.
