Updated Privacy Policy + Client Information Migration Opt Out

Dear Valued Client,

We are always aiming to improve your experience with Clear Skincare.

In November Australian Pharmaceuticals Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wesfarmers Health acquired SILK Laser Australia. As a result, Clear Skincare has joined the SILK Laser Australia network, which includes SILK Laser Clinics, Australian Skin Clinics and Eden Laser Clinics.

We have recently updated our Privacy Policy to reflect our growth and ensure our clients have a better experience across our entire network. We will also be consolidating our Customer Management System/ Point of Sales solution for all our brands. This will assist us in providing you with a seamless in-clinic experience, whether you visit us at a Clear Skincare, SILK Laser Clinics, Australian Skin Clinics or Eden Laser Clinics location, once we complete this consolidation.

What does this mean for you?

Your personal and sensitive information will be securely migrated into our new centralised system, including but not limited to your:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Emergency contacts
  • Before and after treatment photos
  • Client consent forms and treatment notes
  • Previous transaction and appointment history
  • Where relevant and/or provided, details of your medical history, family history and lifestyle information

We comply with and are subject to obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You have the right to opt out of having your personal information migrated to our new system.

 

How to opt out of the migration of your personal information (including sensitive information)

You may opt out by completing and submitting the form below within 14 days of receiving your notification.

If you choose to opt out, it is important to note that at your next visit to a SILK Laser Group clinic you will be required to complete our new client intake form and we will no longer have access to your previous client history with us.

By taking no action, you agree to the secure migration of your personal information into our new Point of Sales system. You will be able to continue using our services and attending our clinics without interruption.
