Renuva® is the latest technology for skin rejuvenation and skin remodelling, targeting concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, and scar correction.

Renuva® is a non-ablative laser, which in real speak means it’s a laser that doesn’t damage or remove the outer layers of the skin and cause any visible damage to the surface of the skin. Instead, it penetrates through the surface of your skin, reaching the deeper layers of the skin for maximum results. The laser forms columns of heat within the skin tissue to rapidly regenerate our collagen and elastin. The heat will naturally kickstart the body’s healing response and stimulate our collagen production.

Renuva® treatment plan is 3-6 treatments depending on severity of concern, coming in once a month.

What can I expect after?

Post treatment, your skin may look as though it has sunburn. How long the redness lasts depends on the individual, but most clients see a reduction after 24 to 48 hours. Some dryness may also be present, which is entirely normal and will resolve within a few days.

Does it hurt?

Renuva® causes warmth and heat throughout the treatment. It can feel like a sharp pulse on the skin. This can be present on the skin after treatment for a few hours. Throughout the treatment, cool air will be used to manage comfort throughout treatment. Topical numbing cream is recommended 30 - 60 minutes prior to the treatment.

How long between treatments?

Procedures are spaced 4 weeks apart. Clients usually begin to see the initial results within a week of their first procedure. Radiant skin is apparent as the deeper skin continues its natural healing process.

Get tailored advice
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure two weeks before and after your Renuva® treatment.
  • Cosmetic Injecting clients should leave two weeks between their last cosmetic injecting treatment and Renuva®.
  • We recommend applying a topical numbing cream 30 - 60 minutes prior to your treatment to make it more comfortable, which can be purchased from your local pharmacy.

Following your Renuva® treatment, the following aftercare will help to heal, hydrate and protect the skin.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER TREATMENT
The skin may appear flushed and there may be warmth in the treated skin.

THINGS TO AVOID
Avoid the gym, spa and sauna for 24 hours.
Avoid products containing active ingredients for 7 days.
Avoid direct sun exposure and exfoliation for 2 weeks.

FOLLOWING TREATMENT
Your skin will be pink and warm. This may be present for 1-3 days.

POST-TREATMENT CARE
Day of treatment: Apply Copper Peptide, PIH and Sunscreen daily until skin is healed.
Day 7: May resume actives and can resume exfoliation
